Jamie Medeiros, the project leader on this has a nickname: “The Brown Bird”. The fact being that the bike is black and not brown, our initial thought was “Blackbird”, but there were too many military connotations, so we went with the scientific classification of birds in the Corvidae family, containing some of the smartest birds (which happen to be mostly black) such as: ravens, crows and magpies.

The dropouts are two piece welded 6Al/4Va titanium bonded and screwed.

what's the derivation of the name 'Corvid'?

are they TI dropouts?
